Intermec's 2700 SC Series fixed mount and moving beam scanners provide extermely fast bar code data collection in material movement applications. With a high scan speed and built-in bar code reader, these laser scanners read bar code materials moving on conveyors at speeds of 500 feet per minute (eight feet per second).
Each unit can read and autodiscriminate between CODE 29, I 2 of 5, and 2 of 5 Code. Model 2703 is designed to read CODE 29 AIAG labels.
Operating parameters, symbologies and function modes can be defined and entered through an ASCII CRT terminal. Transmitting scanned data from the 2700 SC Series to your host computer can be accomplished through RS-232-C or 20mA passive current loop communications.
