Superior heavy-duty performance, excellent print quality and fast print times are what distinguish the new Model 4440 four-inch Thermal/thermal transfer bar code printer. The 4440 offers features and performance that have only been available on very expensive high-end printers. With its all-metal casing and industry-proven design, the Model 4440 is built for reliability in mission-critical applications for manufacturing, distribution, warehousing and government markets, where the printer is depended on and built for constant use 24 hours-per-day.
The 4440 features 32-bit RISC processing, 406 dots per inch resolution, and selectable print speeds up to 8 IP. Other features include 157.6 Kbps serial interface, Precision Print technology, a moveable label gap sensor, and enhanced printhead bias pressure control.
The 4440 is fully compatible with standard Intermec I/O options and comes standard with 1 MB DRAM.
Options for the 4440 include 8 MB image DRAM, 8MB or 16 MB storage Flash memory, cutter/tray, and full batch take-up. Performance and feature characteristics make the 4440 the perfect solution for those mission-critical applications at a "Value" price.
