The 4500 Hand-Held Computer is designed for mobile data collection, providing a high function route accounting system. The 10 MHz CPU clock speed makes processing and data retrieval faster.
This high-end unit comes standard with 1 MB of pseudo-static RAM, but is available with as much as 4 MB. Removable memory cards are available in 64 KB, 128 KB, 256 KB, 512 KB and 1 MB configurations as an option to accommodate future growth. The 4500 Hand-Held Computer operates on a standard NiCd battery pack or five "AA" alkaline batteries interchangeable without adapters. The NiCd batteries are internally charged in the hand-held computer. A backup capacitor and lithium battery ensure data integrity while charging the main battery.
