The 6710 Access Point for Intermec Open Wireless LAN (OWL) provides breakthrough flexibility and allows switching radios by merely switching PCMCIA Cards. Users can change radios in the access points by simply changing PC cards in the device's two PCMCIA slots.
The 6710 has an industrial enclosure for harsh environments including a protective cover for PCMCIA cards. An optional NEMA enclosure is available. It can support two types of radio transmission, allowing two simultaneous applications. It supports 10BaseT, 10Base2 and AUI connection options.
The 6710 access point can be mounted in any orientation, and the LED light bar allows diagnostic indicators to be viewed from any mounting position.
