The Intermec Series 915 MHz RPC tag is specifically designed to track reusable plastic containers (RPC) for the life of the container. Using RFID to store information on a small chip, the Intellitag® technology of the 915 series allows you to track goods along the entire supply chain, saving valuable administration time.
FEATURES
-
Compact, practical design
-
Anti-collision performance
-
User-defined access for data integrity
-
Powerful read range
-
Extended memory capacity of 1,024 bits
ENCAPSULATED DESIGN
Series 915 tags are so compact, they’re inconspicuous even on small containers. Built with a special heavy-duty casing, the 915 series tags survive the rigors of shipping and washing. Triangular patterned holes make heat stake mounting easy.
INTELLITAG ANTICOLLISION PROTOCOL
Intellitag anti-collision protocol allows the 915 tags to be scanned at 40 tags per second, regardless of the number of tags in the read zone. Groups of tags can be sorted by user-defined criteria, and common data can be written to select groups of multiple tags simultaneously.
DATA INTEGRITY ASSURANCE
Pre-programmed identifiers for permanently locked inserts prevent overwrite, while “unlocked” memory areas can be written to again and again. Using 915 tags you can selectively apply a permanent lock on static information, or limit customers allowed to write to the tag using unique customer identifiers.
POWERFUL READ RANGE
Series 915 tags are designed for read/write operations with a stationary reader as containers move through a read zone at 45 meters (150 feet) per minute. When attached to folded RPCs on a pallet, up to 350 tags can be identified in less than 45 seconds with a single-antenna configuration.
Standard Features
The Intellitag Series 915 MHz Tag for Reusable Plastic Containers (RPC) is designed for integration of UHF radio frequency identification (RFID) solutions into RPC containers to provide multi-tag sort, read/write, and extended memory capacity for tracking. The tag is specially designed for tracking RPCs within the entire supply chain as well as other applications requiring non-line-of-sight, non-contact item tracking in harsh environments.
