Intermec’s EasyCoder PL4 printer brings mobility to traditionally restrictive environments. With the battery operated PL4 printer, labels can be printed on demand at the point of label application – when and where they are needed. This increases productivity and reduces the risk of errors by eliminating the need to retrieve and hand carry labels. The PL4 can be carried using the belt-clip, shoulder strap, hand strap, or mounted to trucks or forklifts.
The PL4 printer is compatible with additional Intermec hardware such as mobile computers, terminals, and access points to ensure plug & play implementation in existing industrial, logistics, retail, and consumer goods environments.
Designed to meet the demands of your network infrastructure, the PL4 is available with several interface options including serial RS-232 (standard), Wireless 802.11b with WEP or LEAP security, and Bluetooth.
The EasyCoder PL4 includes your choice of LCD display or membrane user interface. The LCD display increases user confidence by showing actions and status of the printer and guiding applications through user defined displays.
The PL4 printer is the first design integrating many of the features available in a desktop thermal printer into a portable design. This includes four inch print width for compliance labels, high media capacity for minimal label changes, black mark sensor, label taken sensor (LTS), full view media windows, clamshell media loading, and a one flip switch design that enables users to quickly change to peel and present mode of printing.
