Intermec Duratherm Lightning IR labels are the preferred facesheets for use with direct thermal printers. Duratherm labels provide excellent print quality and fair resistance to abrasion and some chemicals.
With no ribbon changes necessary, Duratherm labels require less operator monitoring. They are ideal for indoor applications where temperatures do not exceed 140°F (60°C).
The Lightening IR label is a stocked direct thermal label that provides high-quality printing at faster speeds than Duratherm II. Blood, dirt, and dust will not interfere with scannability.
It is excellent for use in Shipping/receiving, product I.D., medical labs, test tubes, and security badges. It is available in tag construction or with specialty adhesives. These labels can be scanned with either a visible-light or infrared scanning device for bar code applications.
