Intermec Duratherm Lightning labels are the preferred facesheets for use with direct thermal printers. Duratherm labels provide excellent print quality and fair resistance to abrasion and some chemicals,.
With no ribbon changes necessary, Duratherm labels require less operator monitoring. They are ideal for indoor applications where temperatures do not exceed 140°F (60°C). the Lightening label is a stocked direct thermal label that provides high-quality printing at faster speeds than Duratherm II.
It is excellent for use in Shipping/receiving, product I.D., and food storage. It is available in tag construction or with specialty adhesives. These labels require a visible-light scanning device for bar code applications.
