Intermec Duratherm Synthetic Thermal labels are the preferred facesheets for use with direct thermal printers. Duratherm labels provide excellent print quality and fair resistance to abrasion and some chemicals.
With no ribbon changes necessary, Duratherm labels require less operator monitoring. They are ideal for indoor applications where temperatures do not exceed 140°F (60°C).
The Synthetic Thermal label is a durable, tear-resistant label material that performs well when moisture and humidity are present. It is excellent for use in product I.D., shipping containers, and airline bag tags. These labels require a visible-light scanning device for bar code applications. Plastics are not recommended for use in self-strip mode.
