Intermec Duratherm UVR labels and tags are the preferred facesheets for use with direct thermal printers. Duratherm labels provide excellent print quality and fair resistance to abrasion and some chemicals,.
With no ribbon changes necessary, Duratherm labels require less operator monitoring. They are ideal for indoor applications where temperatures do not exceed 140°F (60°C).
The UVR labels are made from a specialty material that offers high resolution print quality as well as resistance to ultraviolet light, and come with an aggressive high-tack adhesive.
This product is excellent for applications such as shipping cartons, product I.D., or inventory control. They are recommended for or use indoors where high probability of UV exposure is present. The UVR label requires a visible-light scanning device for bar code applications.
