The series 3000's speed and versatile firmware give it advantages usually found only in more costly units: Real-time decoding, read comparison, or matchcode routines, and instantaneous data transmission to the host computer made possible by Microscan's patented dual processing. Integration is simple with the scanning system and host computer through easy-to-set, built-in firmware menus for communications, operations, code types, and user outputs. It has flexible configuration with one or two sets of scanner and detector inputs.
