Microscan's series 520 fixed-mount scan head is ideal for systems that require fast, automated bar code data acquisition with a very high confidence factor. Its compact design fits almost anywhere, yet delivers the speed and reliability of larger, more costly hardware.
This scanner features redundant reading at high speed from moving beam scanning - up to 330 scans per second - and Microscan's quick response automatic gain control (AGC). Flexible positioning of bar-coded items is possible, thanks to wide scan angle, large depth of field, and factory-adjustable focal range. Compatibility with virtually all label types and densities, due to high resolution laser optics. Simple connection to the Microscan series 3000 decoder is possible for real-time decoding and instantaneous data transmission to the host computer.
